With rapid growth plans underway across Europe, we have German offices in Frankfurt and Berlin, and a third opening in Munich this year.We are actively recruiting a team of professional, driven experts to join Linesight and help us deliver outstanding projects for our clients. Frankfurt has established itself as one of the biggest data centre hubs in Europe, offering excellent connectivity for hyperscale and colocation data centre providers, and is continuing to attract major global investment.

As a Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective.

The Opportunity

In this role you will: 

• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency​
• Resolve any commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly​
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken ​
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments​
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication​
• Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting​
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team

We would love to hear from you if you: 

• Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline​
• Have experience in cost management with various procurement strategies in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical or heavy industry sectors​
• Have a technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, processes or CSA ​
• Have knowledge or experience with the German market ​
• Have the right to work in Germany​
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
